Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED · 10 JULY 2026
This policy explains how Goldfinch Consulting GmbH processes personal data in connection with this website. Processing is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
1. Controller
Goldfinch Consulting GmbH, Zug, Switzerland, is the controller for the processing described in this policy. You can reach us at contact(at)goldfinchconsulting.ch.
2. Data we process
Server log data. When you visit this website, the hosting infrastructure automatically records technical data about the request: IP address, date and time, requested resource, referrer URL, and browser and operating-system information. We use this data to deliver the website, to ensure its stability and security, and to diagnose faults. Log data is kept only short-term and is not used to identify individual visitors.
Usage and performance data. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, privacy-friendly measurement services of our hosting provider, to understand how this website is used and how it performs. They record page views together with aggregated technical information — the pages visited, referrer, country, browser, operating system, device type and web-performance metrics — without cookies and without storing any identifier on your device. Visitors are counted by means of a short-lived, non-reversible hash that is discarded within a day; the data does not allow us to identify you or to follow you across other websites, and we evaluate it in aggregated form only, to improve the content, stability and speed of this website.
Contact data. When you contact us by email or Telegram, we process the contact details you provide (such as your name, email address or Telegram handle) and the content of your message, in order to handle your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a business relationship.
This website has no user accounts, no contact forms and no newsletter, and we collect no further personal data through it.
3. Cookies, analytics and fonts
This website sets no cookies and stores no comparable identifiers on your device. The analytics described above operate without cookies, involve no advertising and no cross-site tracking, and are served from this website's own domain. Fonts and all other assets are likewise served from our own hosting; your browser makes no requests to third-party font, advertising or tracking services when you visit this site.
4. Hosting and disclosure abroad
This website runs on infrastructure of Vercel Inc. (USA), which processes the technical, usage and performance data described above on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Where personal data is processed in the USA or another country without an adequate level of data protection, we rely on safeguards recognised by the FADP — in particular certification under the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses acknowledged by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Beyond this, we disclose personal data to third parties only where necessary for the purposes above or where we are legally required to do so.
5. Telegram
If you choose to contact us via Telegram, your messages are also processed by Telegram in accordance with its own privacy policy, over which we have no control. For confidential matters we recommend contacting us by email.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as required for the purposes described above, after which it is deleted, unless statutory retention duties (for example the ten-year retention of business records under the Swiss Code of Obligations) require longer storage.
7. Data security
We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including transport encryption (TLS) and restricted access to systems and correspondence.
8. Your rights
Under the FADP you may request information about the personal data we process about you, request its rectification or deletion, object to its processing, and request the delivery or transfer of data you have provided to us. Contact us at contact(at)goldfinchconsulting.ch to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), www.edoeb.admin.ch.
9. Changes to this policy
We may amend this policy from time to time. The version published on this page applies; the date of the last revision is shown above.
